Printmaking

Printmaking is the art of drawing combined with science and technology – a blend which engages both sides of my brain. Prints are the result of delicate collaboration between the artist, the process, and the printing press which makes the resulting marks uniquely satisfying for me.

The making of a printing matrix is just the start of the process. The variables like ink colours and paper choices change the final print creating infinite choices and endless possibilities. While traditionally invented as a method of reproduction for me, the print is less about making identical multiples and more about exploring the print in the most satisfying ways.
